Donald Trump's 2016 General Election Campaign

I swear to God, if Trump raped their sisters, they’d immediately forget they ever had any siblings. Memory of a goldfish.

No no, the best part was this.

This was AFTER being jerked around multiple times by Trump and the campaign.

I noticed that, as well. IANAL, but is it possible that he was advised by his lawyer not to say anything that could jeopardize the lawsuit? Could saying something anti-Trump to the media could give Trump’s lawyers something to latch onto to repel the lawsuit?

It’s bizarre. He read all of Trump’s books and yet:
Popick is quick to explain that the agreement was not written down…
He also wrote all the words to the song including this line:

  • Deal from strength or get crushed every time."*
And now he’s suing? He deserves four facepalms: :smack::smack::smack::smack:

This is where we need a slapping-across-the-face-hard smiley.

This is exactly why he is ill-suited to lead a nation. He’s used to competition, not collaboration. If the whole nation prospers, how can that make him better than everyone else?

Trump, campaigning in Roanoke, Virginia, complained about the air conditioning and threatened not to pay the hotel for the use of their facilities. Maybe other hotels could take a clue and not let him use them.

I’ve said before, any supplier that works with Trump on his campaign does so at their own peril. They’ll be lucky to get pennies on the dollar and avoid losing their businesses.

Terms when dealing with Trump or Trump businesses should be cash up front, on delivery. No credit.

Ok, this is too rich.

Remember those preteen girls, who sang that horrible song at the Trump rally back in January? They’re suing the Trump campaign for non-payment.

Donald Trump reignites feud with Meghan Kelly.

And Bill O’Reilly, responding to the First Lady’s speech, is now saying the slaves who built the White House had it pretty good. You know, for slaves.

Well, at least they didn’t have the disappointment of working for Donald Trump and then getting bilked, I guess…

Tonight, O’Reilly asked Trump about Sanders’ claim that Trump wants to lower the minimum wage. (Politifact, for the record, has scored Sanders’ claim as Mostly True.)

Trump’s response; I’m the only Republican who wants to raise the minimum wage, so I’m going to leave it where it is, but also raise it, and you have to help people even though that’s not what Republicans do, so I’m going to raise it to $10 per hour, but we need to let the states decide.

Just remember: The GOP is the Party of Lincoln, the Southern Strategy never happened, and the Democrats are the real racists, because of the KKK and welfare.

Throw in some Lost Cause historiography and whine about how winners write history and you have a genuine Heritage, Not Hate history textbook.

What gets me is that they can’t fucking leave it alone. They don’t have to say shit like that. They could ignore slavery entirely and claim we have real problems in the present. (True, but you can’t understand those problems without addressing the deep history of racial injustice in this country, which brings us back to slavery.) But no. They can’t do that. They feel the need to address slavery head-on in the way most pleasing to their base, which means saying shit like that. They shore up their credentials with a group which is only ever going to vote Republican while actively alienating other groups.

There’s a reason David Duke is running as a Republican.

So, that would be a definite “Yes, no, maybe!”?

Trump also added that NATO was “obsolete” because it “Doesn’t cover terrorism.” HISTORY LESSON: The only time the NATO collective defense clause has ever been invoked was in response to the 9/11 attacks, which were terrorist acts.

Gallup: 51% said the RNC made them less likely to vote Trump. Previous record, dating back to at least 1988: 38%.

Awesome.

Trump calls for Russia to hack into State Department servers.

Yet again going above and beyond. Do we have any precedent in American politics for calling for a foreign nation to conduct espionage?

I thought for sure that would be The Onion or The Borowitz Report.
