not to worry.
he’s currently taking " hillary speechifying " lessons . :smack:
But when she speechifies she has substance and policy to drone on about.
Trump just babbles on and on repeating empty talking points and code words that appeal to the rabid right wingers who follow him. No substance. No policy.
BREAKING NEWS
In an article to be run in the morning, the Wall Street Journal will announce that the decision has been made to place a layer between Manafort and Trump, with the campaign now being run by Breitbart’s Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway.
Rumors are of a bombshell Thursday story about Manafort.
One gremlin from the Kremlin too many.
I still remember when a Trump supporter in TV talked about “Personnel Is Policy”. Not much talk about that from the Trumpeters nowadays.
Campaign managers from Breitbart.
Some pivot.
Wondering if they meant to say “lawyer” (up) instead of “layers”
From a guy who last was involved in an American political campaign in 1996 to a guy who was involved in an American political campaign in… never.
Yeah, quite a pivot. Trump has the BEST Teams!
I don’t think he does. Trump’s entire worldview can be summed up in three bullet points;
- Donald Trump is very rich
- Donald Trump is very smart
- Everybody loves Donald Trump
He needs to believe that he’s universally loved. Blacks love him. Hispanics love him. Veterans love him. Women love him. Oregon and Connecticut love him, and the only reason he’s trailing there is because of the corrupt media, Crooked Hillary, and the rigged system, because if they were treating him fairly he’d win bigly just like he always does.
What we’re seeing, what we’ve been seeing the last year, isn’t a deliberate attempt at self-sabotage. It’s the clueless flailing of a narcissist who’s spent his entire life in a bubble of yes-men suddenly having to deal with people he can’t bully or fire.
Trump’s veteran relation advisor says he never said Clinton should be assassinated. No, she really should be shot by a firing squad.
Since, IIRC, that site is a big fan of Trump, one might consider it an indication that he’s going to stay the course and not listen to outside advice. He seems to think he can get himself back into what happened in the primaries, and have the outcome be the same.
Yep. Robert Costa just reported that “Bannon has convinced Trump that rest of campaign needs to be bare-knuckles brawl, w/ full-bore populism/movement politics.”
Pretty please let it last.
Another name for the Great Trump Pseudonyms List.
Here is a handy-dandy list of allegations and accusations Trump has made against Obama and Clinton.
The bribery charge is new to me even though he apparently said this in February. So I looked it up: How in the Holy Hell did this get overlooked for 7 months?
From the L&O speech: “the problem is that there are not enough police.”
Yeah, that’s going to win you the Black vote…
This is great. Trump is just incapable of understanding that his terrible polls are his fault, it must be Manafort’s fault, get rid of him get someone else in and double down.
He’s managed to turn Texas purple… Texas!!! Yeehaw and pass the pop-corn.
But Manafort isn’t being fired. Because when has Trump ever been known for firing anyone?
This campaign is like a reality show where Charlie Sheen, Dennis Rodman, and Tom Arnold are supposed to work together to open up a lemonade stand. Hey, that would be entertaining to watch…
Stealing from Nate Silver here. “Trump is pivoting, but 360°. Innovative.”
That Thursday story I mentioned a few hours ago might be breaking early:
AP: Trump chair routed Ukrainian money to D.C. lobbyists - POLITICO
Looks like Paul Manafort was laundering pro-Russian money into two DC lobbying firms, at least $2.2 million worth.
We’ve been speculating the Donald is being manipulated by Vladimir Putin into an unwitting ally. It’s starting to seem that Manafort is Donald’s handler.
If that’s true, Manafort’s “demotion” is going to see some pushback from the Russian faction.
