From tonight’s Commander-In-Chief Forum transcript:
Matt: How much time are you spending on [preparing for the presidency]?
Trump: “…I think I’ve learned a lot. But I think, also, I certainly — I really feel I have a common sense on the various issues…”
May God have mercy on our souls.
Not only that but he doubled down on blaming women in the military for putting themselves in a situation to get raped by the men serving around them.
And I’m gonna stop you right there Fat Don.
The madness continues: "ISIS would not have formed “if we would’ve taken the oil”
Here’s the latest issue by issue polling between Clinton and Trump:
http://pollingreport.com/wh16.htm
Trump leads on the economy, ISIS, leadershp, and honesty, Clinton leads on temperament, foreign policy, and making life better for minorities.
Once again proving the utter stupidity of large swaths of the populace. Even most well educated Republicans, if they are being candid, will call bullshit on that list.
Reduced to Rubble? I think he meant reduced to Barney.
If you kept scrolling down on the very page you linked to, you’d have seen another poll from George Washington University that has Hillary ahead of Donald on every issue they put before the likely voters they polled:
The economy: Hillary 51%-Donald 46%
Taxes: Hillary 49%-Donald 47%
Health Care: Hillary 54%-Donald 42%
Jobs: Hillary 49%-Donald 47%
Foreign Affairs: Hillary 55%-Donald 40%
Fighting for the middle class: Hillary 54%-Donald 40%
Just FYI.
Why do you think the ranking you have in your mind (which I’m guessing features one candidate exclusively) is the right one? It certainly sounds like it’s a minority viewpoint.
On the economy, for example, I’m not surprised that people think Trump’s the better choice. He spends a ton of his time talking about the economy. Hillary, comparatively little I think.
On ISIS, his “get those guys” stance and talk about harsh military actions sounds pretty compelling on the surface. Honesty, what can I say, most people think Clinton’s a dirty liar. I think most people are right on that one.
I’ve read that some polls showing Trump close to Hillary or even ahead in some regards don’t call cellphones, only landlines. Younger voters, who tend to support Hillary, more and more don’t have landlines.
This link was posted in another thread; I’ll cross-post it here. Trump supporters react to fake Trump ads.
Trump’s fans improve on some of the fake-ad proposals. Worried that it may be hard to get all Mexicans to wear dog collars, one woman proposes that all Mexicans be given a fake “vaccine” that allows the electric fence to identify and shock them.
Invalid methodology. Geez, liberals will fall for anything that claims to be data driven and has a cool chart.
That poll was taken 3 points in the polls ago.
Invalid in what way? Or do you believe Politifact is invalid?
if so, demonstrate.
The latest “big news” poll that had Trump in the lead was CNN’s from yesterday, at Trump +2. Right at the top of their poll results (PDF), they say:
I’ve been over this in other threads, but I don’t find totalling up the statements PolitiFact decided to rate to be compelling evidence.
“We’ll see”, I said
