Donald Trump's 2016 General Election Campaign

And then we find Monica Lewinsky sitting next to him…wearing an obviously stained blue dress.

I’m amused that anyone thinks Gennifer or Monica sitting in the front row would rattle HC anywhere near as much as Cuban being there will irritate Trump.

She is battle tested, he has notoriously thin skin.

And you figure she’ll just go along with that, huh? I bet you’re aces with the ladies.

Just when you think this campaign couldn’t get any more ridiculous: Flowers says she’ll be at the debate.

And you’ve never apparently meet a royally pissed off (jacked on) woman before…

I’d give you a cigar as a runners up prize, but it might leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I’ve met plenty but I have no idea what point you’re trying to make. You’re saying Monica is so mad at Bill for pulling out 20 years ago that she’ll show up at his wife’s debate to embarrass her? And/or she wants Trump to win. Think I’ll trust my own people smarts and say naaaah, she ain’t onboard with your cunning plan.

It is being reported by Buzzfeed that Gennifer Flowers’s assistant has confirmed she (Gennifer) is accepting Trump’s offer.

I’ll leave it up to others if they think this development, if true, qualifies as “losing his shit.”

You should write for Trump. That captures his spirit, while at the same time being less incoherent.

That debate commission co-chair is quite the card.

Very dry sense of humour he has. Sahara desert levels.

It’s hilarious that Don the Con thinks that parading Gennifer Flowers around is going to make his opponent look bad.

Being serious for a second … Cuban is a high profile endorser (and likely high dollar donor) to the Clinton campaign, functioning very effectively as a surrogate in the pit bull fashion baiting Trump even better than Warren had. Him scoring a ticket, even a front row one, in the block of tickets that are Team Clinton’s to distribute, seems like a normal thing. From what I can find out tickets are given to some students that win a lottery for them, to corporate sponsors of the debate, and to each candidate’s team to give to donors at their discretion. Clinton used some as a raffle prize to motivate more donations from smaller donors but most likely went to big donors and important surrogates - like Cuban. I am sure that Warren Buffet was also offered a space if he wants it.

He’s not going to heckle and from a stage with lights on you can’t see too well anyone in the crowd even if you are trying to look. Bothered by the knowledge that someone you don’t like is in the crowd? Really?

It’s going to be cute now though. Team Trump has I am sure already promised the tickets it has to distribute to various larger donors. Flowers has now jumped at the chance to score a ticket and accepted his invitation. Will he take away someone else’s ticket?

Ummm, it might be just my fevered false memories…but IIRC Monika Lewinsky was in the recent past making the rounds on the interview circuit to basically saying “fuck the Clintons…they fucked me over…blah blah blah”. And I suspect SHE knew everyone else KNEW the sordid details of the how and the why.

So, yeah, IMO Monica has the balls to say fuck you to the Clintons even if it wrongly embarrasses her.

He doesn’t think that. It’s to get under Clinton’s skin, just like Cuban’s presence might be for him. Like jeering the guy taking a free throw.

I can see Cuban making a big show now of saying that since his being in the audience would apparently rattle Trump “unfairly”, that he will donate his ticket to another student to be chosen from the raffle system (or another small donor, who he will pay to fly in, in his place).

It’s the trolly thing to do!

If Flowers or Lewinsky failed to unnerve Hillary, they would reflect badly on Trump, because few under the age of 40 will remember who they are. Cuban, however, is on a popular TV show, and has a higher recent profile that either Flowers or Lewinsky. Nothing like trotting out an unknown to make your audience go, “Huh?”

Ummm, yeah, that might just be your fevered false memories. Her relatively recent rounds on the interview circuit have been about her anti-bullying campaign. In a Vanity Fair article she wrote about how clearly feels that she had regrets over having consented to that relationship and that she feels she was abused by all sides, by Team Clinton, by the GOP, and by the media, in its aftermath.

When asked specifically about Trump making her an issue in this campaign her response was, not “Fuck 'em, they fucked over me.” it was “How’s this? I’m affected by what happens on the world stage, but I don’t let it deter me.”

Her meaning in life right now is defined by “Public humiliation as a blood sport has to stop” She is most focused on the issue of cyberbullying. Helping the bully-in-chief Trump? I don’t think so.

If brought up, dragged into it, and interviewed I think she would go the route of righteous indignation about the Trump’s campaign elevation of humiliation and shaming to even new levels in the public and political sphere.

So basically, she WILL get into the spotlight.

When and where and how and why you and I differ on.

That is a bit different from no way in shit will she “embarrass” herself again (Because Bill and Hillary already did so).

He’s probably doing it to plant a seed in the minds of undecided voters. Chances are, the news organizations won’t be able to pass up a chance to comment on it, and it’ll remind people of the fact that her husband’s a serial philanderer – any negative attention before the race gets going is potentially good attention. Part of Donald’s attempt to turn the debates into a reality TV political carnival without the clowns (except him of course). But beyond that, maybe, just maybe, it makes Hillary a tad more emotional. Maybe he’s using her to set something up and he’s hoping to needle Hillary a bit. He would love nothing more than to make her look like an angry bitch. This sort of stunt also reveals just how low his opinion of women really is.

No. I do not think she will get into the spotlight. His team realizes that it is not an effective card for them to play and that Clinton is well prepared for him to go that route.

Yeah - but Donald thinks that upsetting Hillary by parading Bill’s old lover will make Hillary look bad, when in truth, it just Trump look like a petty, sexist, hypocrite. Even if Flowers’ presence succeeds in upseting Hillary, Donald’s the one comes out looking worse.

Not that I think Hillary has any fucks left to give about Flowers. It says a lot - nothing flattering - about Donald that he even thinks Hillary would care.
