According to the news people on TV on my local news channel it is felony vandalism.
Maybe someone will burn down all of Hillarys houses when no one is in them and just like with Trumps Star I will not care because no one was hurt so fuck Hillary and her houses.
I’ve always felt that conservatives are far more politically and ideologically tolerant than liberals. Yeah they will complain about liberal positions and people all the time and often without proof, but they don’t shout them down or resort to violence nearly as much as liberals seem to. Conservatives understand the liberal viewpoints (because many used to be liberals), they just don’t agree with them. Liberals think conservatives are hellspawn demons or something.

In the past some people/groups have done nasty things to themselves in an attempt to gain sympathy!

To be clear, “petty” was in reference to the attitude involved, not the legal offense. Those stars are pretty expensive so I would imagine that reaches the level of felony damage.

If they did it for free, sure. But my understanding is that the stars are insured.
Not saying that makes it okay, just that the actual workers are probably okay with having to do it, and neither Trump nor the city probably have to pay.
