But they have made their living arrangements public, and given the original OP, some people see a great deal of incongruity about it. And YES, some lighthearted jokes have been made. People do that. Nobody is condemning their choices (but it still would be nice to know why Disney is verboten). However, it is hard to take their situation seriously when they themselves give evasive and convoluted answers to legitimate questions.

“Lighthearted” jokes are not made at someone else’s expense. Calling someone a fucked up parent is not a lighthearted joke, saying “fuck you and the sex change doctor you rode in on” as reprise did is not lighthearted.
