If all of the “lighthearted digs” were so lighthearted, it would seem to me a lighthearted apology would trip as easily off the tongue. That’s sure the case with me when I wound deeper than I intended. . .

FWIW, I agree with Anthracite about the sausage and Spiritus about the substance. The thread was a bad idea. The subject of the OP has seen and accepted a resolution. Going on is just hurtful and ugly.

And I’ve searched back to page 4 of this thread and all of the GD Disney/God thread and I can’t find where anyone said “you’re a man, baby!”. Was that another thread or were those grendel72’s words?

Mojo, I don’t believe grendel72 was saying that anyone actually SAID those EXACT words, just that that was the “spirit” of some of the comments. But then again, I can’t always see past the frothing, breastbeating, wailing and gnashing of teeth that’s been going on in this thread, and besides, there’s more kneejerking going on around here than at the Rockettes Christmas Show so I could be wrong.
