I was just about to add the bug that a link can’t be at the start of the post, but it’s already up there.
This thread needs to be re-cut, I think. The blue boxes around the smilies are also history.

I wish I’d seen this thread yesterday. It could have spared me some confusion, since I made a post name look like regular words, and I see everyone uses blue links here.
They could be a whole lot easier to type though.
I had to preview 3 times to catch all my errors with quote marks, etc.

This is a GREAT idea, that vB code would automatically create the spcific-post link.

You should suggest it to them at their forum.
Be aware, though, that even though it’s an easy thing to code and they may do it, it could be a year before it came back installed at SDMB.
