Don't mess with Lynn Bodoni in the near future

Gulp!

I’ll be treading lightly.

Or you can be smart and buy her some of this super-expensive chocolate. It’ll make the gift even that much more precious.

Say, Lynn, will a five-pound box be enough?

Hell, I don’t mess with her now!

She’s a Scary Goddess Lady.

Yes. Yes she is. But we love her anyway!

Jesus! About half the women I’ve ever met are chocaholics running from devoted to ravenous fanatics!

Guys, this is bad. This is real bad.

Game over, man!!! Game OVER!!

“Don’t mess with Lynn Bodoni…”

Hell, sounds like good advice to me.

Droughts, floods, swarms of locusts, war in the Middle East and now a chocolate shortage? Jezus. I’m building a bomb shelter.

I’ve been on this board for a while but I don’t know Mod’s food preferences. How do you guys know this stuff?

Better make it sugar-free chocolate - I think she posted about being diabetic.

(Which shows that I spend waaay too much time here)

Ahhhhh, it’s just a Dutch thing! Here in the States, we still have Hershey, PA!

It is most often used in conjuction with the word “bribe”…um… I mean tribute in About This Message Board threads.

I love chocolate - don’t mess with me either!

(although violating said proscription will bring about far lesser penalties) - Heh.
Valrhona anyone?

Even WORSE…for 8 days running now, my Internet connection has been off and on…mostly OFF. I thought my chocolate addiction was bad…it’s nothing compared to my online addiction.

Sugar free chocolate sucks. I’d rather modify my diet and insulin and have some GOOD chocolate.

You could try what I do, Lynn. 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, then grab the desired chocolates, carefully calculate the carbs, scarf, and take the calculated amount of humalog.

Or don’t do what I accidentally did. Miscalculate, take too much humalog, and have to keep popping Godiva chocolates regularly for an hour and a half to combat hypoglycemia!

We all have our little crosses to bear. Sounds like yours floated for a while.

Why is this in the pit?

Well, it is discussion of the administration of the SDMB… sort of.

I’ve been lucky enough to meet Lynn, and I hope she considers me a friend…as I consider HER a friend. She is a lovely, gracious, siamese cat-loving sweetie.
Having said that, I wouldn’t be messing with her in the FAR future, either. Just saying.

I thought criticism of the moderators went in the “PIT” and discussion of the administration went in “ATMB”. Personally I only mess with those types, when self-preservation is at stack and never just to make conversation.

How about a free chocolate from Peter Luger Steakhouse?
