doorhinge, answer the question

doorhinge, you said:

So you were asked the questions: Do you feel that Fox News does “report the news”? Do you feel that they include all the facts? Do you feel that your description of “a political activist” does not generally describe Fox News?

You asked for a separate thread, so here it is. I put this in the Pit so everyone can respond appropriately if you duck the question again.

Asking doorhinge to answer a question is like asking an actual door hinge to answer a question.

Me, I don’t give a shit what doorhinge thinks about whether Fox News reports the news, but that’s only because I don’t give a shit what doorhinge thinks about anything. The only thing remotely clever or interesting about him is that his name rhymes with “more whinge.”

(post shortened then quoted for truth)

If it’s efficiency you want, go even further:

“shit… doorhinge thinks.”

It feels like there are more and more doorhinge types on the board lately.

Is that a real thing or just my confirmation bias?

Edit: ninja’d!

Mostly, I was curious if he’d actually answer the question, since the stance he took about reporters is pretty much the opposite of how Fox News operates.

His first “stab” at answering was extremely narrow; he limited his answer to Fox’s performance at the Republican debate:

When I asked him to give a broader answer about Fox News, in general, he complained that I was taking the thread off-topic. I opined that he wasn’t interested in really answering the question, but offered to open a new thread, if he was actually going to answer:

To which, I got this response:

Can’t we make this a more general pitting? Of all the annoying things about doorhinge, dodging this question is only about halfway down the list.

But, so much turns on his answer! Nyuk-nyuk-nyuk!

Hahahaha. I didn’t ask for a separate thread, but you have no way of knowing that. It was kenobi 65 who wanted to change the direction of the other thread. I chose not to participate in his hijack. He insisted. I still refused. He pouted. Mona Lott then made a poor attempt impose her will on his behalf. It failed. Maybe she didn’t stare at her PC monitor hard enough?

At least you have provided kenobi 65 with the courage to try again, even if he couldn’t be bothered to make the effort for himself. You ol’ enabler, you.

I would prefer it if all of the “news” organizations did a better job of providing the facts. Actual facts, not their political spins or activisms. Fox News does a decent job of reporting the news. They also add their particular spins. If it wasn’t for media outlets like Fox, the public wouldn’t hear anything about many of the important issues of the day. Like ol’ Hillary’s email scandal. Shhhhhhhh. It’s like a great, big, political secret or something.

I would prefer that all “news” organizations make it their priority to get a story’s facts correct instead of being the first to report anything/nothing and calling that breaking news. Those are late breaking rumors.

MSNBC is nothing more than a DNC parroting organization complete with race-baiters like Sharpton.

CNN’s dismal performance reporting ALL of the news “they decided is fit to print” leads to lynch-mob mentalities demanding justice based on CNN lies. Good times.

A door hinge is only something to a door. At least you’re thinking about me.

Yes you do, or you wouldn’t be posting in this thread.

you must put “scandal” in quotes when you’re talking about Fox News and Secretary Clinton.

Like the Benghazi “scandal.”

Your use of the term “race-baiters” is ignorant and offensive. Don’t blame the victims for raising racial issues in the country.

Hey, if they didn’t talk about it so much, we wouldn’t have to listen!

That isn’t true. One might post to ask whether doorhinge is in fact the dumbest conservative currently posting to this board, or merely appears so because he is so prolific and thus continuously offering fresh idiocy. I’m unable to decide, but at least in terms of volume, he is unquestionably the current reigning King of Stupid.

“Dumber than doorhinge”? That approaches neutron density. If **doorhinge **could make a burrito that is dumber than he is, and he ate it, would he collapse into a singularity of stupid, and have a non-event horizon?

Do you really believe Sharpton is the victim in Ferguson?
