It was a fine, fine evening hanging out on the boat with Demo, psycat, Jack Batty and zyzzyva. Listening to Demo and psycat talk about how they wound up together was sweet. The kids were cool. I dragged along a non-Doper friend of mine and she sounded sufficiently impressed by the quality of Dopers that she might end up joining our cult.
I wish I hadn’t kept hitting my head, though.
You should have gone out to international waters to gamble, smoke reefer and blow the smoke in the coast guards face.
Sorry I missed it, gang… messed up my neck earlier this week and have been in pretty constant pain since Wednesday. Went for acupuncture yesterday… woo!

Hey, thanks, everyone, for coming on such short notice. It turned out to be super-cool, if not a little chilly. Plus, like Snooooopy (I know how many o’s are in his name, now. ;)) said, we may have recruited another Doper!
I threw up the pictures from the trip here, in case you want to see a bunch of people playing with Spider Man action figures, drinking cheap beer and such. 
It was great seeing the people we had met and meeting the people we hadn’t, as always. Thanks you guys.

That was really cool. I had an awesome time. You just can’t beat the conversations of a dopefest. Always such good company. I’m glad everyone else had fun. We will have to head down that way again one night without the kiddies, there looked like a few cool bars and stuff to wander in and out of.
We were going to do some diamond smuggling and gun-running, but only one of the two forward machine guns was operational, and Demo said the rear torpedo launchers had been on the fritz all week. Plus, they were low on grenades. We decided not to risk it.
