Thank you, Jodi, for the very festive old-fashioned Santa Claus ornament (which was packed in a little velvet stocking – two ornaments in one!) They will be adorning my tree momentarily.
The weather over the weekend derailed my plans to get my ornament in the mail, but it will be winging its way south (to a very northern sounding location!) today.
You’re welcome! It’s nothing special because I couldn’t think of anything cool or unique, but it does come with my best wishes. Merry Christmas.

thirdwarning sent me a cute little egg. It’s made of glass, and has lots of gold glitter on it, but otherwise reminds me of a Ukrainian type egg.
Really nifty, and totally not something I’d have bought for myself–which is just another way of saying really nifty.

Mine arrived yesterday - Thanks Alice! The snowflake “cookie”, “ribbon-candy” tree and “orange slice” star are adorable!! only one of the three had a sticker that explicitly said “don’t eat, this is not food!!” but we figured the others were inedible also and did not attempt to snack on them

I got my ornament! It’s a beautiful transparent glass ball, with the glass pulled into and through the center – it’s kind of hard to describe, but it’s cool.

Wheee! Another package arrived today!! (I was also in Round 2). From Gigi, a beautiful egg-shaped ornament with beads in wine and blue and silver colors (and with a teensy little ladybug painted on the bottom). It’s going on the tree momentarily!
I just opened mine— three beautifully hand-made beaded snowflakes from freckafree, packed in a red organza bag. Thank you so much. You are very talented, they are gorgeous!
I sent mine on Wednesday, and it should arrive today or tomorrow.

Oh, Ha!, Snow Camp was named because Gen. Cornwallis made camp here during Revolutionary War times, in the snow. But, it rarely snows here.
That’s OK, because now I have at least a bit of it with your wonderful snowflakes, now sparkling up on the tree. They are stunning! I treasure them already.
When I looked it up on a map, I did wonder if it ever snowed in Snow Camp!
Update - December 26th
My records indicate that all but two ornaments were sent; I’ve heard back from those two senders and they should be hitting the mails shortly. They apologize; both have been nailed by “life happens” events.
I show a number of ornaments which were sent, but have not been received yet (or the recipient hasn’t responded to my email checking on its arrival). If you’re such a sender, and you happen to have sent with some sort of tracking, can you check on that? I hate to think that such a large proportion of ornaments got lost in the mail (there are at least 4 that should have had enough time to arrive; a couple others were sent longer distances or sent very recently, so may not have arrived yet).
I think I’ve been in touch with everyone who is at either end (not sent, or receipt not yet acknowledged) of those MIA ornaments. If not, post here or drop me an email. I’m trying to see that nobody gets left in the lurch. I might ask for volunteers to send out an extra ornament to cover those participants but I’m still hoping that won’t be necessary.
