Sheesh, you guys are cute!

I told myself I wouldn’t do this in one of these threads but…whoa.
I literally did a double take.

Aw man, you don’t need to exaggerate. ![]()

I love putting faces to names. Here’s more than enough pictures:
I finally did a myspace page so I could see pictures of my niece.
Here’s my photobucket page which I first started in order post to one of these threads and then kicked it into high gear to show off my son.

I think I might know you from a Depeche Mode board … nice to see you giving Color Theory some time on your myspace page, too, Brian rocks! ![]()
I have never done this, and have spent the last couple hours learning how, but here goes.

This is how it starts, ladies and gentleman. Just some innocent pictures of him and the missus posted to a message board, then WHAM, he’ll be making an iconoclastic myspace page, putting out his own ironic/sardonic videos with commentary on rare bands of the 80’s punk genre, running a blog for the preservation of mid 17th century teacups, and posting pictures of the clothing he designed for his innumerable cats.
You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
(As an aside, I think it’s great how many people are responding to this thread.)

I wasn’t. I try to check expectations at the door in the pic threads because inevitably one finds them completely dashed. I went down the page clicking links and glancing at pictures while most of my attention was on a tv monitor, turning back and forth. I did a double take.
This is why I don’t like passing out a whole bunch of compliments in the pic threads. Now I feel silly.

This pic was taken at a recent party and has Ms.Nic and myself. It can be seen here if Link Works

It is a little known fact, but in real life nic plays guitar for ZZ Top.
Me in the summer of 2004 with my 1990 Toyota 4Runner and a kayak.
Me in 2005 (in college at this point.)
Me in late 2005 with one of my favorite shirts at the time which is now lost.
Me as a cute kid, probably around 1990.
Not real current, the summer of 03 but we have not changed much.
I’ve got no decent, recent pictures (lost the camera -> computer USB cable and haven’t got around to getting a new one yet… :o) – but here’s one of me, not 5 minutes ago.
I’m not really spaced out – I’m trying to look at the tiny screen of my phonecam and keep my face on it at the same time :smack:
Hey, be nice! It’s from a lousy phonecam! (plus, it was windy outside so my hair is a mess. And I need a haircut.)
I have never contributed to one of these threads.
These are ten years old and too many pounds of good married eatin’ ago.

Or, if all else fails, find a picture of you and a dog. We’ll wank all over that.
I managed to find a couple of pics this morning, you’ll have to work out which one is the dog!
This is me , a while ago, before several haircuts!
This is from a fancy dress party. We did a group thing as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I got to be the Wicked Witch

Don’t worry, she gives that look to everyone, but she’s really very nice in person. Even if you drop in on her in the middle of the day, she’ll feed you and make you tea and give you jeans she can’t wear.
Here’s one of me at the Fire Expo last year.

It’s possible but there’s usually about 50 Ice Machines on the DM boards and I haven’t graced the main board in over a year since the last time they rolled through Houston (3rd row, best seats I’ve ever had!). Brian does put out some excellent music. I first caught onto him a few years back after hearing a song on one of the Different Drum compilations. I immediately picked up everything he had.
OK, I’ve strewn a few compliments through this thread, all of them sincere. But aside from a tad of gender confusion with threemae, I have to say that auntie em’s photo is the single most astonishing one I’ve seen here yet. You’re not exactly hard on the eyes yourself, Skip, but I’d have to say you are one very fortunate fellow - auntie em is STUNNINGLY pretty. That lady could stand between Halle Berry and Jada Pinkett Smith and make them both look average.
Why, thank you, that’s very kind. I’m sure auntie em would normally respond, but she’s out travelling the world for work this week, and so probably hasn’t spared too many thoughts for the SDMB. (I know, heretic, right?) I’ll pass this along to her when she gets back.
And, her looks aside (but I ain’t complaining about 'em), I am a fortunate fellow.
