Aw…blushes Thanks everyone :). And Autolycus, how did you know I was Irish? I bet it was the green leprechaun antennas that gave it away! I’m going there this summer actually.
Being the cam-whore I am, I confess myself mortified that I’ve only got one picture of myself on my PC.
Ah, wait, 'ere’s another one.
Okay, since this thread still seems to be live & kicking, I’ll link to my MySpace pics with a bunch of pics of me, plus some of my truly amateur artwork.
Holy crap, were you working there in late 2005? You look *exactly *like the docent my husband and I had on Dec. 30th, 2005, last tour of the day.
How does a cell phone get drunk?
When you drop it in your vodka tonic. That’s why I’m kinda blurry.
Out of curiosity, may I ask which Florida town? I might pay it a visit some day, cause I like mud flats too. Ours here don’t go out anywhere near half a mile.
That was probably me. I started in about July of 2005. I hope you enjoyed the tour.
Very much so, thank you! We hope to get back up that way sometime in the summer.
Here’s our wedding pictures which we took in Taiwan over New Years. (We were married earlier last year, but did the pictures later.)
TokyoPlayer, those are outstanding wedding photos. um… which one are you?
Holy crap, you two are supermodels!
I keep thinking I’m too new here for anyone to give a crap what I look like, but then I think that it’s not fair to ogle everyone’s else’s picture without subjecting myself to the same scrutiny.
So, inspired by TokyoPlayer, here’s a pic of me enthralling the crowd at our wedding reception. (Yes, I’m a lucky man.)
And here is a pic of me holding a rib and wearing a bib:
And here is a pic of me (looking stupid), my wife (looking pretty, but she would kill me if she knew I posted a pic in which she has a band-aid on her chin), and our doggie (looking furry).
Wow, I love that picture of your wife lying down in the red dress! You had a very imaginative photographer.
Seconded!
Thirded. Very impressive. Professional photographers can make such a difference, can’t they?
Good pics from Spiral Stairs, as well!
I remember the Taiwanese pre-wedding photos well (my wife is Taiwanese) although we did them at a place in Houston. The mutiple costume changes were a pain but they turned out very well. Unfortunately I don’t have any of them electronically or any of the professional ones from the wedding. However, since I’m talking about it here’s some pictures friends took at the wedding. My wife ended up wearing three outfits. To join in I threw on one of those Mandarin jackets later on.
I really don’t know much about flowers, other than some are pretty. Lillies are nice, I guess.
I really like carnations though, maybe because everyone thinks they’re boring. Don’t get as much love as roses. And they’re interesting-looking.
But I did think roses make nice epaulettes, what with the military connotations of epaulettes and the femininity of the roses.
Tagging on at the end, as usual. I resisted as long as I could.
With recenty added facial hair.
Here’s three more from last year.
thanks, and I’m the lucky man.
Thanks! It’s the airbrushing which makes the difference with reality! :o
The photographer was really, really good. It was an all day thing, starting at 8:00 am for makeup and finishing at 6:00 pm. He took over 150 photos and trying to decide which ones to keep was hard. My favorate is this one although this one is a close second. I had a great time, and really got into it. I came up with about a third of the poses which we kept, including all that involved picking her up. What a fun experience.
