I love seeing happy wedding and family pictures. I know that things have been pretty Dysfunctional Family Robinson for a lot of us, and happy pictures remind us that there are other ways of being. And happy wedding pictures, well… weddings always seem like a shot of hope and love amidst the chaos, the lighting of a candle against the dark.
And besides… Doper Women are hot.

A friend of mine once asked me why I never smiled in pictures. Now I hate pictures of myself, but just to prove that my face isn’t a grim mask of death, I took one. No, I’m not strangling myself. I’m sitting on the ground with my ebows on my knees and my hands all comfortable.
This was during the NFL Playoffs. You can tell it was before the Super Bowl because we are still smiling.
Hip-checking my daughter down to the ice; she never saw it coming! OK, just kidding. She’s only 3, and this was her first time skating. So checking her was easy.
