Okay, so you’re all waiting for me to submit it to Ed/Cecil. Consider it done.
Not that part I don’t. “She’s my sister! <slap!> she’s my daughter! <slap!>” – that I remember.
I’m with saoirse: I love to flout urinal etiquette. I stand wherever I damn please. Don’t like it? Go use a stall, ya big girl.
I always try to get as far away as any other men there. If enough urinals are occupied to make having a neighbor necessary, it’s off to the stall.
We have a three urinal arrangement at work and one chowderhead ALWAYS uses #2, even if the other two are free. We have a movement afoot to get dividers installed between the urinals, which makes the whole experience more comfortable. Our motto: Divided We Stand.
Anyone else heard of the designation “paedorinal” for the one next to the kiddie one :).
Further question: when using the stalls just to pee: shut the door or not?
I’d say it should be closed. Walking into an occupied stall is much worse than unnecessarily taking a spot next to an occupied urinal.
The exception to this would be if there’s a line. If there’s a backlog to pee, everyone will be watching to see which spaces are available. As such, there’s really not much chance of being interrupted while in the stall. Plus, leaving the door open will also help the line to move somewhat more quickly in this situation.
What about when one of the urinals is kid-sized? Is there any ethics about taking a kid’s urinal, akin to taking the handicapped stall? On a side-note, when standing at a kid’s urinal, I often think "so, this is what it’s like to be an NBA player…
Gee, are you guys blind? You the ones who spray it around the seat and the floor, aren’t you? We done the paedUrinal and the paedOrinal already.
Talk about pearls before frigging swine. Don McLean and Vincent van Gogh were right. They - YOU - would not listen, you’re not listening still. Perhaps you never will.
I honestly don’t know why I bother.
Nearing 4000 posts, can you offer one that serves as translation?
My dear chap, one should never act as one’s own translator.
But allow a man whose post count is in inverse proportion to all other counts that matter - or so he tells us - [post=6823872]AndyPolley[/post] to wax hermeneutic on my behalf.
