Woo!
I am so looking forward to seeing two of everyone this weekend!!
Now, back to packing.
Yes, Shan dear…I am doing the same thing. And no doubt packing the wrong things, and too many of them. ::sigh::
Plus, I lost my license and had to get a temporary one. I am not sure if the airline is going to accept the temp…I HOPE to see you all tommorow.

From experience…If you are fair skinned and plan to sit at the beach, may I suggest packing a hat (baseball cap will work). You might put on industrial strength sun block, but most don’t put it on the part in the hair. Let me just say when combing the hair afterwards the response it “awww, awwww, awww!” and then the pealing, “eww dandruff.”
Today I did lunch at Manhattan Beach Pier. The sky was a bright blue. The weather was warm without being hot. Ah, you guys are going to love it.
I love LA
Question.
Should I bring my laptop or not? I ahve it set up to cam to the world, but will we all be anywhere where we can access a phone line besides individual rooms at the hotel?
And does anyone really want to stop the party to upload photos?
what is the greatest distance any of our Festers are traveling?
But, we’re actually available Saturday night. My CPR class is during the day, so it’s not like we can’t drive to the party afterwards.
And holy crap, Friday night is tomorrow! How did that happen? Ugh. Well, we may just end up “dropping by” Saturday (that would be our preference). As it is, I seem to be coming down with some kind of respiratory infection (how fun with that be for CPR?), and I’ve had some serious shit go down at work, so I’ve been unable to keep tabs on this thing.
You know, would someone maybe email me phone numbers or something? Shayna, girl? Don’t worry, we’re not concerned about having our names added to the Adams party–we can just crash and be nearby, or do a drive-by-smile-and-greet.
Ugh. I’m going to go take drugs now.
Probably Uncle Bill is the longest travelling native, coming from Florida, IIRC.
I just got off the phone with Franand she said she got through LAX in 10 minutes. So while they’re still doing stupid Lot crap, it’s rather quick.
All I know at this point is that, short of eventfull happenings tomorrow, I’ll be there and I’m operating under Rasa’s latest instructions to hug ALL THE GIRLS (excuse me, there, that was hug EVERYBODY? - Well, I’ll do my part.)
I dunno. I’m coming from Baltimore. Isn’t that farther?
I can’t sleep. I’m too damn excited!!!
Whee! it’s 4:15, and I’ve had 2 hours of “sleep”. Now I’m off to the airport, what fun.
grumble, grumble, curse
3:02 AM here, and I’m on my way!
It’s a lovely 32 degrees here in Massachusetts today. I’m sitting here freezing, and I can’t believe I’ll be in sunny California by the end of the day.
I have a couple hours to kill before I leave. I wish I had an earlier flight! I want to leave NOW!
See you folks tonight! Woo!
And Rasa, I’ll be whining and saying ‘foo’ all weekend cause you’re not there.
Rose
Our cab should be here any minute. See you soon!
Damn all of you who have left already! I don’t get to leave for another TEN HOURS! Not fair. Don’t any of you dare get so drunk you can’t see straight by the time I get there (9:30pm!). Vincey, Brian, I’m lookin’ at youse guys.
I’m leaving for the airport in forty minutes, flying out in three hours. See y’all this afternoon.
Rollin’…
I’m so excited! This is going to be so much fun! And to think, you guys are going to be here, having fun, while I’m in school!
Wait a minute…
Oh, well. See you tomorrow night!
