Double-decker RVs

Are there any countries where double-decker RVs are street legal (the UK?)? Are they commerically available? All I can find on the net are custom projects.

What’s an RV?

Recreational Vehicles. In America that means motorhomes, camper vans, camping trailers, etc. I’d assume the OP is talking about motorhomes.

The first thought that came to mind is that double-decker RVs would never be able to make it under the overpasses in the American highway system. I realize this does not answer your question.

I know of people in the UK who’ve bouth an old Routemaster double-decker bus and kitted them out as motor homes. Would that count?

By the way, double-decker buses are the same height as - or shorter than - large container trucks, so I don’t think overpasses would be a problem.

I have seen some (super expensive ones like 500K and up) that have an upper floor that collapses down into the roof and side rooms that expand out as well automatically. Those are legal.
