Double Feature: A game.

In a good double feature, the two movies must have something in common. The purpose of this game is to identify the common feature of a posted double feature, and then, using one of the two movies, make a new double feature using a different link. It sounds complicated, but it is actually simple. Suppose I posted

La Femme Nikita
Leon: The Professional

The next person would identify what they had in common, and use one of them to create a new double feature with a different link. A good response might be

Both directed by Luc Besson.

Leon: The Professional
Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace

To continue, you must identify the link, and use TPM as the first part of a new double feature.

Both starred Natalie Portman.

But I just woke up and brain is not awake yet, so I’ll let someone else come up with a new double feature.
Star Wars I: The Phantom Menance
Jaws

Ok, I lied, I thought of one, but was too tired to edit my previous post … scary thing is, I did preview. Sigh. Teach me to post at 6.30 in morning.

Both had music by John Williams.

Jaws
The Deep

Double points if you find all the connections.

Um, couldn’t find anything on “the deep”. Perhaps you meant “deep blue sea”??

Both deal with bigbig sharks.
to quote:

the license plate pulled from the shark’s teeth is the same plate found in the tiger shark inJaws (1975).

The sharks are killed in the same ways as the sharks in Jaws, Jaws 2 (1978), and Jaws 3-D (1983). The first is blown up by compressed gas, the second bites into a electric wire, and the last one is blown up by a bomb.
