Great to hear! Give him some skritches from me.
Is Doxie related to the famous “Lucky”?
Anyway, good to hear he’s doing well.
He’s pretty much back to The Old Grind. Jeeping and hunting and digging. Got his collar back on him, as the swelling has all gone down. Ear looks better, but I haven’t really grabbed it and gave it the old feel test. Probably like Jerky at this point.
Side note: Geez these dogs stink! Just picking them up to load and unload them out of the truck (we took that tonight) made my hands stink like a dead skunk. At least I can’t smell them fart in the truck.
Happy he’s feeling better!
cool good news for once … tho sounds like ya need to put them back in the truck bed and run em through a car wash lol
He’s back to his “100 %” Which is about half of a regular dog, but he is very happy and jaunty. I wonder how much of this is due to the meds I’m putting down his neck?
Or maybe just the Bleu Cheese? HIs ear has returned to “Old Dirty Dog” level of Rotting Death.
This dog will outlive us all. He deserves it.
Thanks for all the kind words to the Dox. I probably don’t need to update this anymore.
Glad he’s back to himself again. But he’s still a dachshund with little pointy teeth that can nip at my ankles. Ok, fine, they can be adorable too, but they are still vicious little beasts no matter how cute and adorable they are. Gad, i hate dachshunds for being so cute and lovable. Live long and prosper Doxie Dog.
Don’t say that. We love stories of the ‘Killer crew’
So happy he’s back to his normal.
They all do. ![]()
I had one single big old T-Bone today. The other 4 all ran out in a barking cluster and Dox stood there looking at me, wagging his tail.
He got it for his troubles that I put him through.
Band name!
