My buddy just called and said that we might DP a horror movie. Sounds like fun. I wonder if it pays anything?
You’re going to double penetrate a horror movie? 
It’s usually not a team kinda thing but I don’t see why not. There’s a first for everything. Probably been done and I bet The ASC frowns upon it. Go for it. You’ll want to solo as much as possible though just for careers sake. And most budgets won’t cover two of ya in that position although one of you could be designated “operator.”
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I don’t really care about the screen credit. If I end up as “operator”, that’s fine. I just like to work on ‘films’! (This will be shot on DV, so I don’t consider it a ‘film’; but I’ll be shooting mine on 16mm in a couple of months.)
