… is still alive, as far as I know.

But I came across this this video from 1980. Not the best weather segment, as he was at his best when he was really geeking out over the weather. But still, it was fun to see him in his bow-tie being excited about the weather.

Added bonus in this video: ‘Now with Low-Tech!’ B&W infrared satellite photos, a rotating weather board instead of a big blue screen (IIRC, they used blue screens at the time), and weather maps that look like they came straight off the fax (which is how they were delivered when my dad was a Flight Service Specialist).

Og, that takes me back. You feel sure that if he took those glasses off, his nose and mustache would come with them…

And whatever happened to Christine Lund? She was the archetypal blonde lipgloss airhead reporter.
