In Dragonheart, Bowen doesn’t know (or at least he’s not sure) that Draco is the dragon that gave Einon half his heart, until Draco tells him at Avalon. Is the audience supposed to be similarly fooled? Are we not expected to get this immediately, as I did (Sean Connery’s voice was a dead giveaway)?
That was my assumption also. Although, there is the other possibility that **all **dragons sound like Sean Connery.

Perhaps I’m being whooshed here, and you’re applying the universal “there was no Highlander sequel” to Dragonheart, but just in case you were serious…
I think we were supposed to be fooled, since they don’t show the dragon at all until later. But it was fairly obvious.
I had no idea…although from the cast list and synopsis, I’m going to adopt the “Highlander” meaning to that phrase from now on. Robby Benson?! :dubious:
