Dreaming:Crowded House Videos on DVD

This is a collection of Crowded House videos, that came out on October 1st. SinceI Like To Watch * and * Farewell to the World are not readily available in the States. This is my review, MHO, MMV,

“Mean To Me” A funny video with the flashing color computer animation, as seen in “Money For Nothing”.

“Now We’re Getting Somewhere” Crowded House goes skiing.

“Don’t Dream It’s Over” Probably a song most of you know, and an excellent video. Known for the flying, reaking Dishes in the foreground.

“Something So Strong” A small concert in a barn, just hanging out and having fun.

“Better Be Home Soon” A very wistful and lonely video clip.

“Sister Madly” A clip from a Crowded House concert.

“When You Come” Crowded House performing on a crowded street in an Asian city I cannot place, one of my favorites.

"Into Temptation"Black and White shots of the band against the cover art For Temple of Low Men

“I Feel Possessed” Crowded House in concert, Neil Finn primarily featured, Eddie Rayner on organ can be seen.

“It’s Only Natural” Notable For Nick Seymour rollerblading and playing his guitar! down the street.

“Chocolate Cake” A sharp satire of American weirdness. Tim Finn
has a good part of the screen time. Great fun, watch the bugs!

“Fall At Your Feet” Splashing water, flames and shot of starry skies suit this clip very well. A color shot of the band at the end.

“Weather With You” Crowded House playing and hanging out at the beach in high summer. I love this video.

“Four Seasons In One Day” A dreamy and surreal video that visualises the song beautifully with awesome animations that fade in and out.

The* Together Alone* videos are the best part, MHO.

“Distant Sun” Timeless video with ethereal and surprising images, a classic CH video.

“Nails In My Feet” Set in a chapellike building with angels and cherubs, falling petals that convey hope and despair perfectly

“Locked Out” With CH and women running down streets to the pace of the music, frantic, hyper, happy.

“Private Universe” An animated video with acidy colours, snowy rainbow mountains, skeleton birds with the band members fading in from black and white into colour and back again.

“Not The Girl You Think You Are” A dark video, in Film Noir, set in a hotel, with the band as hotel staff, and a band in a bar background , providing commentary

“Everything Is Good For You” Jamming at home , going rowing, all set during spring.

Anybody want to say what Crowded House songs they would like to see a video for? I would have liked to have seen clips for **
Can’t Carry On, In The Lowlands, Whispers and Moans, How Will You Go. Catherine Wheels and Kare Kare. **

Sixpence None The Richer will cover “Don’t Dream It’s Over” on their next album.

Tim and Neil Finn have started to work on a new Finn Brothers album, due to be released next year.

A Split Enz DVD will be released in November.
