Have you ever dreamed about a world where the physics are similar to something you’ve been reading, watching or playing?
This actually kind of happens to me a lot when I get obsessed with hobbies.
Just tonight I had a Counter Strike (first person shooter computer game) and Terminator (Movie trilogy and T.V. show) hybrid dream.
So, for whatever reason, I drove down to a desert town with a few unidentifiable friends. On the way there I saw a guy walking his pet salmon as if it was a dog. I took some time trying to figure out how that is possible and just ended up assuming the guy puts the fish back in the water when he’s not walking it. Anyway, this town had a gang war going because the leader of one of the gangs didn’t sell the other a small bottle of whiskey. Gang Leader 2, ends up stalking the guy trying to figure out how to get some alcohol from him and they end up being friends. So now I’m back in the dream going to Gang Leader 2’s hang out, which is about the size of a hotel room. The room is completely void of furniture or people. In fact, the only thing inside is a minigun mounted to the floor and aimed at a vent on the upper corner of the room. So the members of this gang decide to walk in through the vent. The first guy uses his knife to break it open and now I can see everyone walking while crouched. Just like you can do in CS. Anyway, they all end up getting killed by the minigun and I decide the gun is owned and placed there by Skynet. So I end up going back to the hotel with the now buddy buddy gang leaders trying to be the first one to break the news to them so Gang Leader 2 doesn’t think that it was Gang Leader 1’s doing. After a little talking and finally convincing them to go check it out, I head over there myself. I enlist the help of my sister and walk back into the room with the gun which now has desks you usually see in classrooms and a bunch of people mourning. I kick them all out and disable the gun by removing the chip inside of it like they do in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Weirdest dream I’ve had in a while, I think I drank too much last night
