I told my friends last night that I will not under any circumstances see this movie. They went without me. I am $5 richer than I would have been had I caved and I’m quite happy about it.
Well, FWIW, the guy in the Chicago Tribune just gave it a grand total of one (1) star (out of a possible 4) and says, in part, “You can just watch the trailer and save yourself 82 minutes.”
Another one of those “all the good jokes are in the trailer” movie.

I went to see it yesterday out of curiousity and I really enjoyed it. Sure, it was stupid, but it was hilarious at the same time. I’m sure many people wouldn’t enjoy it, but don’t judge a movie that you haven’t seen (sure, previews may give you an idea of what the movies about, but they can never do a movie justice as to how good it is). If you don’t want to, don’t watch it, but it’s silly to criticize a movie you’ve never even watched.
I was arguing with a friend about this movie about how bad it was. Of the recent past, this movie ranks with Battlefield Earth and Wing Commander. However, he says this movie was worse than Battlefield but I think BE is definitely the worst ever, followed by WC and Dude.
