Dude! Where's my password? (Mac)

I installed some updates, which necessitated restarting my computer. When I did the AirPort Internet connection didn’t connect. Tried to log in with my password, but it didn’t work. So I went to the other computer that I haven’t updated in a while. It couldn’t join AirPort. So I unplugged AirPort and plugged it back in. Using the AirPort Setup Assistant I logged on. But the other computer is still asking for a password.

ISTR that the Administrator (me) can find the AirPort password, but I don’t remember where since it’s been so long since I’ve had to. Where can I, as the Administrator, see my password to make sure I’m remembering it correctly?

It’s in your System (or Login) Keychain. Use “Keychain Access” in utilities to open the correct keychain, and view the password.
Or, you can reset your Airport base station.

Thanks.

I was indeed using the correct password. When I got back to the old iMac I saw that AirPort had connected (even though it was still asking for a password).
