I want to get a short, buzzcutty haircut, and my hair is curly, limp, and thin. It seems to me that part of a buzzcut is that you end up with a bristly head of tiny little rigid, spiky hairettes. I’m kind of worried that mine will somehow not do that. Is this the case or what?
I’m afraid you’re right, and a buzz cut will not look right with the kind of hair you described.
If you want a shortish look, perhaps you could go for the slightly longer-hair-slicked back-with-gel-look? Like Spike, the badd-ass vampire from Buffy? (bleached hair optional)
But go to a good hairdresser. They can advise you best.
