I’m helping start a new investment info e-biz. We need a business plan, and I have been chosen to tackle that problem. Anyone have any good books to recommend or know anything about a business plan software package? Seen a bunch, but I don’t know which to choose.

“High Tech Start Up” by John Nesheim is a great book about the whole process, including writing a Bus plan, getting to VCs, etc.

Do what the rest of them do - promote the hell out of your site, get to IPO, make a zillion dollars, then run like hell before anyone figures out that WAS your business plan.
