Black Mesa, the total conversion of Half-Life to the Source engine, today announced their purchase by EA.
In an effort to compete with Team Fortress 2, Black Mesa’s art style is being redone to be similar to TF2.
EA also plan to charge $9.99 for each chapter of the game, although the first chapter will be free.
The first 2 chapters of the mod are being released in all their cartoony glory and are available for purchase right now, and can be downloaded here.
