I remember a commercial with John Travolta sometime in the mid-seventies, not for soap or deodorant, but some kind of public service announcement, or maybe life insurance, I just can’t remember. But it ended with him looking at the camera, and to the best of my knowledge saying something like, “I just never counted on him dying”, talking about his father. Does anyone remember something like this and can they point me to a clip of this commercial?
I remember it well, but I don’t remember what the ad was for. I even remember that it was featured on one of those “Before They Were Stars” TV specials. I tried looking it up on YouTube, but couldn’t seem to locate it.
I tried YouTube also, but couldn’t find it. It was only years later that I found out that Travolta was in it. But I remember it being quite moving.
