For two days now I’ve had Ted Nugent’s Free-For-Allstuck in my head.
What do you have?

What do you have?
Not exactly a specific earworm, but I’m spending a lot of time with various Fallout 3 tunes going through my head.
(bongo bongo bongo I don’t wanna leave the congo…)
I can think of worse songs than Ted Nugent. Anyone remember when that guy sang Coldplay at Karaoke last year and got beat up? LOL

This is not a typical earworm but at the place where I’m currently dogsitting, they have a clock that plays an electronic version of Canterbury Bells on the hour. For the first several days I could hear it continue to play long after it had actually ended. Not Canterbury Bells but a random series of beeps and boops. In fact, I could almost feel it in my right ear canal. Weird, huh?
Otherwise, since I’ve played a few rounds of Mah Jongg on their computer where some of the tiles represent the four directions, I’ve found myself singing Buttons and Bows from the Bob Hope movie, The Paleface. The song starts out this way:
East is East and West is West
And the wrong one I have chose…
I’m a little fuzzy on the rest of the lyrics but that doesn’t stop from getting lodged in brain and popping up occasionally. Especially at night when I’m getting ready for bed.
And now, of course.
Coldplays’ Viva La Vida - very catchy tune even if I’m not a real big fan of the genre.
I’ve nearly always got music playing in my head; right now, for some odd reason, it’s the Safety Dance by Men Without Hats.
Mrs. J. actually bought (for $1) a copy of the Four Seasons’ Christmas album (she likes Xmas music).
Just by looking at the album cover, I can feel “Walk Like A Man” trying to insinuate itself into my consciousness.
It will not urrrgh, uumph succeed.
The Chicken Dance. Someone put it on a cat video on YouTube. I’ve had to put Christmas music on to eradicate it.
Oh crap, merely looking that up on YouTube has apparently brought on a massive eighties flashback… I’m thinking some Dexy’s Midnight Runners next…
That damned new Britney Spears song is stuck on endless loop in my brain. Just one line.
It has more than one?
If this thread gets this stuck in my head again, I shall be so unpleased.
Because misery loves company, I would like you all to despise me as my “friend” has given me cause to despise him. Therefore, I give you: Caramelldansen. Once you get over the initial “WTF” factor, it will implant itself, and you shall know no peace evermore.
Dansa med os!
Klappa era hander…
Just here to mention “Last Christmas”
Have fun
I’ve got one that (for once) doesn’t give me reason to complain. YMMV, of course.
The Scissor Sisters - “I Can’t Decide” I first heard it used in the Season 3 finale of New Who and fell in love with it. Now my kids are hooked too and we spend all day singing it to each other.
“Ice Cream” from the musical Anne of Green Gables. Ever since I saw the show Wednesday night, the darn song keeps popping into my head.
About that much of the song. Over and over and over again.
We’ve been watching Phineas and Ferb a lot, and I’ve got Gitchi Gitchi Gooin my head. Luckily it’s kind of a fun song.
The latest FreeCreditReport.com jingle infected me a few days ago.
Some Norwegian Death Metal cleaned out (nay totally sterilized) my brain, so I’m much better now. At the time tho I kept getting very strong urges involving an axe and a ski mask.
Jeebus I hate that song. And I cannot believe that “Bow Chicka Wow Wow” is an acceptable lyric for a kids’ show. WTF.
Ever since I saw her on SNL a couple weeks ago, Beyonce’s “Single Lady.”
A. Not a genre that I listen to.
B. Within that genre I find it particularly obnoxious.
C. It’s popular enough that every time it starts to fade away I hear another snippet and the whole thing starts again. Even heard a segment on NPR about it!
