I noticed that if you go to a search engine, and search for something, then want to search for something else, you can just replace that something else for the original thing in the URL, then press “enter”, and the search result will appear. Got me thinking about whether this means that there are an infinite number of URLs.
Also, when replying to a SD topic, a subwindow appears in IE that allows me to review the topic. The thread in the subwindow has a reply buttom, which creates a new reply with a new subwindow. So I can have a bunch of nested windows. They would be a bit more useful if it weren’t for flood control, but oh well.
So does anyone else find any of this interesting, or have anything they find interesting about their web browser?
Ryan,
Step away from the computer. Go outside and take a walk. You’re obsessing!

Voted “Most Empathetic”- can you believe that?
If there’s a ? in the URL, the parts after the ? are parameters for a script, which takes the parameters and performs the search… only the part of the URL before the ? actually exists… so yeah, there are an infinite number of URLs, but only the one document…
