Crocheted Tampons!!!
You know, I’m all for reducing my carbon footprint and all that but the soaking and the disinfecting and the washing and the drying and the changing every two hours is just way more effort than I want to put into my period. Especially considering I’m usually all bloaty and crampy and headachey at that time, anyway, and only want to curl up with my heating pad and whimper. I think I’ll stick to my Diva cup.
Festive colors on those things, though.

I think my cat would love one of those. Rub a bit of catnip on it, and you’ve got a great toy.

I suppose they would be most easily cleaned in a washing machine, but that is wayyyyy too much effort.

No, you’d make them out of cotton yarn, which is very soft, and non-fuzzy. (I just finished crocheting a wrap in cotton yarn.)
And you wouldn’t get TSS if you changed them like you’re supposed to, and cleaned them carefully between uses.
Still…no thanks.
Still…ugh. Cleaning them would be a bitch. I still like the cat toy idea, though.
