Just wondering, when a mod or an admin edits a post, is that little “this post edited by…” stamped automaticly, or is it just somthing you guys do out of courtesy? If the latter, is it always done?
I believe that the “edited” part shows up automatically. Oftentimes the mods will also include their reasons for editing.
“It’s all
Au-to-mat-ic-ic-ic-ic-ic-ic.”
on vb script it’s automatic…
haven’t you noticed that if you piss the mods/admins off enough they leave sarcastic comments in their edit trails?
oh - you didn’t know???
It’s almost always there automatically. I think there’s a 1 or 2 minute time span after posting that allows for “unnoticed” editing my OWN posts. If I make a quick edit because of a typo, the line doesn’t appear. Annything longer than those two minutes, and all posts by other people I edit : the line shows up automatically.
Haven’t you moderators got the hang of this “cabal” thing yet???
You totally forgot about the secret codes that you leave in your mod-trails™…the ones that only the members who know the secret handshake can decode…
LMAO - I asked Tuba to restrict my posting rights, and I was SOOO trying to give Coldie a smartarse reply…
Joke was on me.
restrict your posting rights?
for once in my life I actually wanted to ask you a serious question.
Give me 2 minutes, I think you have my ICQ and you certainly know where chat is - there’s something I wanted to ask you about the Dutch opinion of
I’ll be with waterj2 over there, scratching my head in confusion, OK?
