I’ve got a digital camera that takes Quicktime .mov files. Invariably, the last second or two needs to be cropped off the end. I’ve googled, forum-searched, and checked pricelessware.org but can’t seem to find a free/shareware utility to edit these. Can anyone suggest an option?
I find it ironic that my $1000 (in 2001) digicam takes video that almost matches the quality of the 8mm camera my Dad had 40 years ago!
I don’t do video editing, but my recently aquired Olympus D-40 has a video “editing” option, which is actually a really basic start/end trimming feature.
I found a Shareware program called Quickeditor several years ago. It’s mainly a Mac program but there was a version for Windows and it works OK. It’s not full of bells and whistles, but it allows you to trim, add captions and music, etc.
