I see the custom smilies look okay but the rest are sick.
Yeah, I don’t like that it doesn’t expand to take up the screen or that you have to click on a screen name to see what they’ve got available (email, web site, etc.)
We’ll see what the techs do in the next few days and then I’ll start bitching in earnest.
BTW, did anyone browse though the User CP? vCards? Event Reminders? And it looks like the Calendar is working (for now).
Ok, thanks. I didn’t mean to lose my spoon. I didn’t realise that this is just the out of the box format and there is still work to be done. Since there is a lot of discussion over at ATMB this pit thread is probably superfluous.
This thread can be closed.
Mine is not the default - go to User CP, then options and you can set it so that your default is to not subscribe. There’s also an option to go and change which threads you’re subscribed to from there.
I don’t dislike the current format - my only annoyance is remembering to take my sig off every time I post so I’m not too hard on the poor hamsters.
Bleah. Just. Bleah.
I hate to be one of those people who hates change simply because I’m a creature of habit…
BUT I LIKED IT BEFORE!!!
Somebody call the waaaaaahmbulance…
Why the hell do previously-clicked links not change colour? Isn’t anyone else enfuriated by this??? It used to be I could quickly scroll through a page and see what threads I’d already looked at. Now it takes forever to carefully read through every title and think, “hmmm did I read this already?”
Arrggh!! Previously-followed links are SUPPOSED to change colour. Its common HTML practice.
Testing, testing…Ok, I see the options below to shut off the sig; I thought I’d shut that off in User CP. Guess not.
Eh, the colors are a bit of a downer, and I’d rather it were wider, but I imagine that’ll get taken care of over the next few days (months?)
The amount of time they’ve had this format up can be measured in hours! Let ‘em fuckin’ work on it a bit, for fuck’s sake. If you guys see someone make a typo, do you come up behind them and tell them how stupid they are, befoire they get a chance to correct it?
I think the negative reaction is because there is no perceived benefit to this surprise change. People liked it better the old way. Even after all the work to get it back to that level, what is the gain?
