Anyone remember this show? I’ve been rewatching it on youtube.com. Though actually I didn’t watch it all that much as a kid. I remember a few eps, but mostly my brother watched it. It was a lot of fun. Very Twilight Zone for younger kids, but it holds up pretty well.
I saw it when it was first out (and in prime time). Just a great show. “Reality Takes a Holiday” is one of my favorite TV episodes of all time (written by Vance Degeneris, Ellen’s brother).
The networks loved it. The Saturday morning run was one of the few times a network took an old series from another network to run as programming.
Can anyone name the show from the (late 90s?) early 2000s where the setting was in a high school boarding house, and there was some mysterious science lab nearby doing weird stuff? One of the kids’ dad was the CEO or something. I racking my brain, and can’t think of it. It’s right on the tip of my tongue…
Just a few months ago I watched a load of Eerie Indiana on a website that had every episode uploaded (I presume I can’t say the name of that site here). It’s nice to see that a show you enjoyed as a kid is as good as you remember.
One thing I like about the show is that the kid actors are pretty good. They’re cute without being cloying and they’re also pretty funny. The kid who plays Simon, I feel like I’ve seen him in something else but I don’t recognize any of his other credits on IMDb. It’s also weird that I had a crush on Omri Katz back when I was younger and he was older than me, but now I’m older than he was when he was on Eerie, Indiana. Creepy!
I also liked ‘Reality Takes a Holiday’, where everyone is calling Marshall ‘Omri’, and his home is a film set. Then he reads the script, where it says he will be killed off.
I saw the Lost Hour last night. Love that episode…and LOVE that Marshall winds up as an old milkman patrolling Eerie, Indiana. Old Marshall was the best.
