Those numbers look pretty close. Rivers is better, true, but not decisively so, and McNair missed basically 2 games with injuries this year. I think his experience does give him the edge here, a big edge.
Agreed, but why do you refuse to give Billick credit for doing the exact same thing after week 7? Ravens have been on fire since then too.
Where did I say that? I said “both teams are very good.” and “the Chargers are a very, very good team, no doubt”. I then looked at the matchup and said why I thought the Ravens should win based upon that. No chance? Not at all, especially if LT gets loose, as well he might, no matter how we play the run, he’s a special talent, but overall the matchup favors the Ravens strongly here. I just think the Ravens are a better team. Part of that is homerism, I admitted that, but I’m also trying to be as objective as I can at the same time.
What the fuck does objective have to do with anything? Trash talking is way more fun. That said, “anything other than a Ravens victory”? Dude, it’ll be a good game with two well matched teams and a close Charger victory.
For what it’s worth in my league the guy with LT is in fifth, with only an outside shot at improving. The only one of the RB trinity currently in the top three is LJ on my team (in 2nd). The guy (way) in first almost always wins money, using middle draft picks, baling wire, and chewing gum to put together a monster.
