What do you call a crow you take on a plane (on a treadmill)?
A carrion crow
Thank you, everybody! Good night!

Uhh, you do know you still only get one vote, right? ![]()
Don’t everyone flock to this thread all at once. That could murder the whole premise.
Do local elections count too?
Again this year, in Maine we are voting on allowing gay marriage. I have every belief that it will finally pass. But I’ve thought that before and it never quite panned out.
I also believe Angus King will waltz into a Senate seat whistling a happy tune.
And, of course, I’ll be shocked if Obama doesn’t pull it off tonight.
Crow me; I can take it.
More a snicker than a crow, but this was too good not to share:
That would be a much better story if Obama carried Texas by one vote.
That story would have to entail the vote of Jesus Horatio Christ of Palestine, Texas.
It’s still pretty great just as it is.
Nice username/silly pun thread combo!
That’s obviously a joke.
But I’m sure you all knew that …
It sounds very questionable to me. I’ll reserve judgement until I see it in the NYT, or equivalent.
You mean the story from the satirical newspaper? I thought it was totally true.
Actually I suspect some people did. Possibly even you.
Very appropriate in light of the thread title, but of course no one would admit it.
I’m not real hip, but the other story titles on the page clued me in.

The Daily Currant’s been getting some circulation lately. It’s definitely a satirical news site. Not as well known as the Onion, unfortunately, so it’s easy to get blindsided by it.
Also, a lot of people who come across stories that are “too good not to share” don’t do a whole lot of “analysis” before rushing to share them, or to cackle over them.
Quickly glance at the story, find it in perfect alignment with your preferred view of the world, and rush to the keyboard.
I get emails from those people fairly frequently.
I would have figured it out if I only had a brain.
Not me, I’m in Chicago.
Not really, I’m in NJ, hence the lack of power.
Anyway, it looked like this was veering pitward for a little bit, but it has lightened up, and I like that!
I noticed that 538 now has Florida slightly Obama-leaning, and I swear I didn’t see that before I posted. I’ll be back later. Crow or be crowed!
I don’t care where you live, it’s against the law for mynah to vote.
