New Jersey being called for Harris. As expected. Normally would have been apparent earlier except for the delays in voting.
“Annoying” is a bit of an understatement. Trump’s heading into the clubhouse turn while Harris is having trouble leaving the gate. I’d like to see a bit more of a horserace.
Yeah, Virginia is a terrible sign. Harris will win it in all likelihood but not by a lot.
Someone on MSNBC saying there is a lot of D vote left in GA. In VA, in 2016 Trump had an early lead before the vote from Northern VA came in
So, I’m hearing that:
- early votes are coming in first this time as opposed to coming in later in 2020
- with early votes being counted first this time, Harris will hit her peak early, only to have it trickle away because day-of votes will benefit Trump.
I dont think this is necessarily true. More Republicans are voting early this time than they did in '16 and ‘20. I suspect as day-of votes get counted, we won’t necessarily see Harris’ lead get chipped away too much. The percentage of Republicans voting early has increased substantially since '20.

It’s time zones. If it makes you feel better, assign California to Harris, she’s already won it whatever CNN colors it on the map.
A lot of MAGA minded people moved to Florida over the last 4 years, since DeSantis pushed back strongly against closing down businesses.
So the Republican ranks swelled from when Biden ran.
Florida also failed to pass the pot amendment (it got a majority, but Florida requires 60% to pass). The Abortion amendment isn’t winning right now, either.
Not to pick on him but I haven’t noticed any recent posts by @Velocity. I think we can probably rule out Harris land slide.
