I think the dirty secret about abortion in the US is that there will always be exceptions for certain Republican women who need or want abortions. They do not need to fight to keep this right because they were never in danger of losing it in the first place. They don’t care if it gets taken away from others. They are only ever one phone call away from a private clinic where it will be discreetly taken care of, no questions asked.
