Election Quiz: Which Candidates Matches You The Most?

By that measure Vladimir Lenin and Josef Stalin would be extremely worthy of your vote.

I actually agree-New Deal liberals like Scoop Jackson, Hubert Humphrey, and so forth (in my opinion) hit the sweet spot between tiresome Third Way social liberalism and controversial (and probably ineffective) left-wing social democracy of Bernie Sanders.

It has been mentioned earlier: on many actual issues, many of the candidates are hardly radical in any real sense of the word, and actually far closer to each other and to the mainstream than the perception of many in the public. And too often a claim of substantive shortcomings is actually a reflection of personal dislike, or of tying it in to the more extreme version of their position.

The hillbeast lost my vote due to her strong anti-constitutional slant, yes, specifically the Second Amendment, I’m a law abiding gun owner, and even though I’m not an NRA member, I found her gun owner/NRA member slam highly offensive.

None of my firearms have ever been used in anger, or against another human, so why should I have my rights infringed because of what some crazy person might do, or because somebody is “scared” of firearms.

I’ll drop any further elaboration, don’t want to derail this into a firearms debate, we have too many of those already.

Scoop’s dead, man.

Hahahaha.

My >60% scores were:

76% Sanders
73% Trump
70% Rubio
69% Clinton
66% Bush
66% Cruz

The candidate I picked in the last question was Warren. My second choice would have been Webb. I don’t know how any of those above got my name on them, really I don’t.

91% Bernie Sanders
87% Hillary Clinton
72% Martin O’Malley
61% Rand Paul (I knew I tended towards the libertarian portion of the spectrum, but…)
59% The Donald

Everyone else is below 50%.

Greens: 95%
Democrats: 93%
Socialist: 86%
Constitution: 62%

Amusing. I fantasize of the day I don’t have to play puppeteer with the cadaver that is the progressive wing of the Democratic Party. Apparently I’m also way right of center in terms of immigration issues, which probably gives people like the Donald and Randy such high scores. I don’t subscribe to the Trump “Build a Wall and Make Them Pay For It” school of immigration policy, but still.

97% Bernie Sanders. I haven’t really been paying attention to him either, I’ve just been annoyed by all the “feel the bern” memes so I deliberately avoid the topic. I had no idea we were so closely matched and I answered every available question. The last time I took one of these political compass type tests I was closest to Joe Biden.

Clinton was 94% so not too far away. On the opposite end I got 13% for Carson.
