I rented “Election” on New Year’s Eve (wild times) and it sucked compared to the book, but that’s a different thread. What I’m asking about is those weird clips from the 70s toward the end of the movie–Tammy and her friend flying the kite over the bridge and all the other clips from that, and when Matthew Broderick decides to move to New York. I didn’t mind it, I just thought it was strange, and why didn’t it appear anywhere else in the movie?

And I was disapointed too. But reese witherspoon was so perfect in it,I kinda liked it for that.
