I’m a Kevin Smith fan. I love his movies and they are full of dialog, unlike many movies that are put out there every year. Does anyone feel the same way?
I am SO looking forward to it that we’re going to go see it while we’re in the States on holidays!!
I’m gonna see it. The bit on the commercial where Jay is doing the Jaime Gumb Silence of The Lambs dance really cracked me up.
I will be there the day it opens. Clerks is one of my favorite movies. Plus I’m looking forward to more Randal Graves lines.

Exactly what I was gonna say! I don’t have much interest in this movie as a whole, but I stop whatever I’m doing and watch that commercial every time it comes on.
I’m looking forward to it… but, dammit, why wasn’t it filmed in black and white with one-word chapter titles like “perspicacity” like the first one? That was a huge part of its charm.
One of my all-time favorite movie quotes is “But I love gatherings. Isn’t it ironic?”
Clerks is probably my least favorite Smith movie… I know I know… blasphemer,moron,whatever… So I’m looking forward to it just because I am a fan of his in general not because I want to see this particular film.

I’m excited for it. I haven’t been wowed by the ads, but the movie has gotten a really positive reception so far- more than enough for me to take a leap of faith that this one will have more of what made me like Kevin Smith than Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back did.
Yup, gonna be there opening night, at one of the showings w/ KS doing a QA afterward. (I wonder if he’s gonna watch three showings of his movie in a row, or if he’s gonna be at Amoeba in between Q&As.)

Have you seen Jersey Girl? If not, do not, it is by far his worse movie. IMHO, his only movie that was not great.

I loved the original, and from what I can tell from the trailers this is going to be just as drop-down hilarious as the first one. Plus, they now have Rosario Dawson (great actor, loved her in Rent) and Earl from My Name is Earl with supporting roles. There’s really only one question left to ask.

Can’t wait. I’m probably going to have to go alone, though – my husband doesn’t ‘get’ Kevin Smith. He sat all the way through Clerks and didn’t laught once. Can you imagine? Maybe my son will be home that weekend – he’d go with me.
I’m gonna go see it. Maybe alone (cuz all my friends are l0s3rs, yo).
I too am a little disappointed in the color film, tho 
I was unimpressed by the first LOTR movie and never bothered seeing parts 2 and 3, so I expect Clerks 2 will be loaded with references I won’t get, limiting my enjoyment. I’ll catch it on cable sooner or later.
