IANAtomndebb, but: the board rules have generally been interpreted that someone can be a racist, and can voice racist ideas, and can honestly argue for them forcefully and relentlessly but they cannot troll and they cannot use what the board defines as hate speech. The OP here seems sincere in his paranoid, lunatic idiocy. And even though his stupidity approximates trolling, personally I’d vote that he was just conceived with a defective sperm rather than that he’s purposefully trying to get a rise out of folks. YMMV.

At any rate, FinnAgain’s post hits the nail on the head. Being openly prejudiced is not, in and of itself, against the rules. Using racial slurs, or openly advocating for genocide, will trip the “No Hate Speech” rule and draw a warning.

*The Talmud is written as a collection of arguments, in which multiple authors may have contributed to any number of discussions. The discussions were written down and collected as they were argued, not simply as the ultimate decision was rendered. Thus, many hypotheticals are included with both the “winning” and “losing” sides presented. Most of the really stupid claims made about the Talmud are taken from hypotheticals in which both the overall context and the final result of the discussion are excluded.

What you have to understand is that Judaism essentially has twin traditions, that of the Tanakh itself and that of a companion, built up over centuries, where scholars debated the application and interpretation of various bits of the law, usually in the context of their times. Think of it sort of like a centuries-long message board debate that noobs can look in on to get an idea of the issues involved in a discussion.

Think of it sort of like a centuries-long message board debate that noobs can look in on to get an idea of the issues involved in a discussion.

It is pretty “dumb” to think that the common citizen affect the outcome of a political policy that runs on big money and big money alone.

The truth is disturbing enough but I take refuge in the fact that I am not a brainwashed coward.
