Elementary: New CBS Sherlock Series [Season 1 thread]

You can watch full episodes commercial free on the CBS website. I’ve watched most of Elementary from there as I’m rarely home during prime time and don’t have a DVR.

I hope this doesn’t turn into a hijack, but whatever happened with Jekyll? That seemed so promising from what I remember although I’m not sure i saw all of the episodes.

Here’s something possibly interesting: so far there’s been no mention of Mycroft.

That would be Sherlock’s sister - Mycrofta.

I kind of hope not, just because turning everybody but Sherlock into women is going to get a bit old (well, I guess Gregson’s still a man, but still…)

If they do introduce Mycroft, though, next season will be the best time to do it IMO since I read that the season will start out in London.

If they do end up having a female Mycroft, I do hope they stick with canon enough to hire a larger woman to play her. One of Mycroft’s defining characteristics was his corpulence due to being practically immobile.

Thanks, SeaDragonTattoo, but “the video you requested is not available for your viewing area.”

It’s ok though, I just found it on btvguide.com

i watched the entire season from thursday to sunday. thursday after watching 4 episodes, it was really bugging me. finally on friday i reversed and listened to a few minutes of mr miller with my eyes closed, just concentrating on the cadence, his rhythym was really pinging, i know i had heard it before.

then, wham, it hit me, the cadence is similar to russell brand. mr brand has a louder higher voice, but the rhythym is really close, also some of the body movements and intensity are there as well.

i rather like “binge watching” an entire season (or series) in one go is really great.

I guess this is more season two info, but Rhys Ifans is to play Mycroft in a multi-episode arc.
