You want to embed the video where?
To my blog, but the YouTube tutorial tells me to highlight the “embed” and then go to “EDIT”. Only I cannot FIND “Edit” on Vista.
Thanks!

Vista’s got nothing to do with this, so forget that aspect of it. Could you link to the tutorial that you’re talking about? I suspect the “Edit” refers to the editing process which you use to update your blog. If this is the case, embedding the Youtube clip might be as easy as pasting the embed code into your blog in the same place you write your updates.
I checked one of my uploaded videos on Youtube. When you go to Edit there’s an option under Embedding to switch it on or off. It is on by default.
Then, when you view the video normally, eg this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmSKDkIIQDU there’s the embed code right below the description, in this case it is
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/GmSKDkIIQDU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GmSKDkIIQDU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
This is the code you’ll have to copy and paste in your blog.
It’s talking about the “edit” menu in your browser. Presumably the next step is to select “copy” from under “edit”, right? You can also do this by right-clicking on the selected text and choosing “copy”.
ETA: and the problem isn’t the OS, it’s the poor instructions you’re reading.
Gotcha! Thank you!
