I think Emma Watson is an average actress, and needs some proper drama classes to knock her up to full potential. She’s basically only ever been Hermione Granger since she was 9 years old, and wasn’t that brilliant throughout. As someone pointed out once, she acts with her eyebrows.
She did do Ballet Shoes, and was quite acceptable, including a naked bathtub sequence, but that wasn’t a far leap from Hermione either.

The group of kids that just graduated from my high school were the first wave that really grew up with Harry Potter–they’ve read each book as they have come out. I have a group of boys who were particularly obsessed with Harry Potter. Smartest kids I’ve ever taught–well read, well spoken, talented. The very smartest of them, the smartest human being I’ve ever personally known, the most obsessed with Harry Potter–is, of course, starting at Brown in the fall. He’s pleased.
I’m going to brown too. I guess I’m not famous so nobody cares about my bowel movements. :mad:
