Had my employee evaluation yesterday. I was rated “exceptional” in all categories, the highest possible rating. This translates into the highest possible raise (no dollar figure given yet) plus a 15% bump in my annual bonus.
The only negative note was to try to be more patient with the customers my boss termed on the review as “not too bright.” I don’t suffer fools gladly.
Included with the review were stats. Since I joined the team in June I’ve taken 10,000 phone calls! Yeep!
Anyone else getting their annual reviews and want to share?
My boss is impressed with my organizational and multi-tasking skills, and how I’ve grown as a manager.
I got my biggest raise ever.
It came on one of the “free” paydays. (We get paid every two weeks, and I pay bills twice a month. There are two pay periods during the year that fall between when my bills are due, and add to that, they only take out the insurance twice a month. So if a month has three pay periods, the last one has no insurance taken out.)
I had my end-of-orientation review yesterday. I’m an experiment for my hospital, and my preceptor, floor supervisor, department supervisor and education dept. supervisor met with me to see what I felt they did right in hiring and training me. Although they so-far consider their experiment a success, they don’t feel safe duplicating it with another guinea pig----education says I’m far smarter than they could have ever hoped and my preceptor can’t believe they’d ever get another orientee with the support system that I have. So I’ve come out of the deal with ~70 CEUs, free CPR and NRP certifications and the knowledge that they think they picked a winner.
